LACROIX NORD, a subsidiary of Stef-TFE, has rolled out the WEBISO intranet solution for its subsidiairies in France and Belgium.

With 186 sites distributed all over Europe, 48 storage rooms (2.000.000 m³) under controlled temperature, 138 platforms (300.000 m²) under environment temperature and a car park of 2.300 vehicles, Stef-TFE is one of the major European players in the food logistic business. The group is able both to provide full logistics service to its customers and to offer the necessary speed and security.

Moreover Stef-TFE adheres to the most severe norms of Quality. Both the strictest norms of Quality, Safety and hygiene, and all the other relevant legislation in the sector, are scrutinously being applied at Stef.

WEBISO, the intranet based solution is being hosted at the French IT centre of Lacroix Nord with a seperate environment both for the Belgium site and the French one.

This international project demanded for a strict coordination and an extensive communication with all the players involved, thus enabling a fast start-up and implementation of the WEBISO solution. The set-up of the server, the configuration of the network, the software upload, the training, … all have been coordinated and realised with the different players within the prescheduled time frames and budgets agreed upon.

As of October 2005, Lacroix’ demanding customers do rely on the WEBISO’s intranet communication platform for the monitoring of their procedures to be adhered to.
